Our Story: Why Cahoots Exists
Cahoots was founded in 1980 with a simple but powerful belief: that every child and young person deserves a chance to belong. What began as a small group of passionate volunteers has grown into a trusted organisation supporting hundreds of families across Western Australia. We exist because too many young people with disabilities or exceptional challenges are left without access to safe, inclusive, and enriching activities. Our programs are designed to bridge that gap, giving participants a place to build friendships, learn new skills, gain confidence, and simply have fun in an environment that truly understands and supports their individual needs.

Whether you’re looking for a one-off holiday camp or ongoing support, our team is here to guide you through the process and help you find the right fit. Many of our services are eligible for NDIS funding, and we offer tailored support to suit a wide range of needs.
What Cahoots Offers
Cahoots runs a range of programs and services for young people aged 5–18+ who live with disabilities or other exceptional challenges. These include:
- School Holiday Overnight Supports
- Weekend Overnight Supports
- After-School Programs
- Ed Support School Services
- 1:1 Support
Our trained team works closely with families to ensure that every young person is cared for, included, and given opportunities to explore, grow, and have fun in a safe environment.
