Why our supports matter

Summer programs like this do far more than simply fill a holiday slot, they provide opportunities for independence, growth, and connection. Through structured activities designed with the right supports in place, individuals with disability can build confidence, develop social skills, and experience a genuine sense of achievement.

These programs also foster a strong sense of community, giving participants the chance to make friends, be part of a team, and try exciting new things in a safe, supportive environment.

For families, there’s peace of mind in knowing that each experience is professionally run, tailored to individual needs, and made more accessible through NDIS eligibility. At the same time, these programs offer valuable volunteering and learning opportunities for young people and students, allowing them to gain real-world experience, strengthen their resumes, and contribute to something truly meaningful.

If you’re in Western Australia and looking for a summer program that offers more than just basic care, that instead focuses on adventure, inclusion, growth, and fun, Cahoots is the go-to.

Spots are limited, so if this sounds like the right fit for your loved one, register sooner rather than later. And if you’re keen on helping out as a volunteer or completing a student placement, you’ll get to experience the adventures too.

Visit the Cahoots website or call 1300 103 880 to discuss suitability, supports needed and which adventure will allow you and your loved one to stay cool this summer.

Help us, help others

No matter how small, your contribution goes towards helping Cahoots lower the costs for families using our services. Whilst we are NDIS funded, there is often a shortfall between the funding and the cost of our activities, so your donations mean families can still send their loved ones to our camps and programs.

For many, Cahoots is a life changing experience for both the participants who grow, learn and enjoy themselves, but it also provides respite to parents and families from the demands of full time care. Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated.
