Summer is Cahoots!

Unforgettable Summer Adventures with Cahoots Camps.

We want everyone of all abilities to make the most out of their summer break!

That’s why Cahoots Summer Camps provides a safe, inclusive space where all participants can learn, thrive and create unforgettable experiences.

This summer promises to be our biggest and best yet! With the hustle and bustle of the busiest season in full swing, we’re gearing up to make every moment unforgettable. Our camps are packed with fun recreation activities designed to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Our experienced and dedicated volunteers are highly qualified to provide participants with a safe and enjoyable experience. Many of our team members come from backgrounds in the disability or healthcare sectors, and some bring valuable lived experience with autism and neurodiversity, making our camps truly supportive and inclusive.

With a variety of camps that offer different support needs for each individual, our camps offer a unique experience that can allow each participant to grow their independence, create friendships, foster education and set personal goals to help them reach their full potential.

Our camps offer a variety of activities, including trips to the beach, games with volunteers, and learning new skills that can be applied to everyday life.

Hear from one of our families for their great experience on a Cahoots camp.

“Cahoots has helped Mikayla in so many ways I couldn’t even begin to describe it. One of the biggest ones is being socially appropriate in environment outside the home. That has been the biggest help for me. As I now can take her out, and she knows how to behave not only appropriately but safely,” said Mikayla’s mum.

“Also interacting with other children. Naturally she is not a sociable person, and this has helped her to socialise with children her own age. It’s also helped her with her balance and gross motor skills with arts and craft and the activities that you do, for example bowling and parks.”

Our camps can be offered to people from the ages of 5 to 18+ and are designed to be accessible for all families and individuals. We provide 1:1 and 1:2 support to ensure that each participant receives the care they need.

If you are unsure of what camp is best suited for your child, our experienced Family Relationship Officers can assist in what camp is best for your loved ones.

Together, let’s create a summer that is fun, a summer that is adventurous, a summer of inclusivity and a summer that is Cahoots!

    Help us, help others

No matter how small, your contribution goes towards helping Cahoots lower the costs for families using our services. Whilst we are NDIS funded, there is often a shortfall between the funding and the cost of our activities, so your donations mean families can still send their loved ones to our camps and programs.

For many, Cahoots is a life changing experience for both the participants who grow, learn and enjoy themselves, but it also provides respite to parents and families from the demands of full time care. Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated.
